Alice La comédie musicale

Seasons The Musical Paris Fringe

Very excited to announce that I’m directing the Paris Premiere of Seasons – The Musical to be shown at the Paris Fringe Festival on May 25th & 26th, 20h.

An original musical, Seasons spans the course of one year and delves into the lives of two couples. There’s Helen and Peter, classmates who reconnect at a high school reunion and struggle with an unexpected pregnancy after a one-night stand. And there’s Hope and Mrs Jones, a daughter and mother who are celebrating a recent wedding engagement but also grappling with an unwelcome diagnosis of cancer. These are poignant and touching stories that also explore these characters with humour and realism.

Written and composed by Elaine Pechacek and Katie Hammond Seasons is produced by the American company Squeaky Wheel Theatre Project and Broadway au Carré.

MOI, MYSELF & ICH is a story about three personalities, three complimentary forces and their struggle to live side by side. Each force is essentially different from the two others. Each one has its singularities, strengths and weaknesses. Every one of these characters walks through life within their own horizons, their own truth and habits, without caring too much for one another and without realising how much they actually influence and depend on each other. Soon enough their limits will show and they will be obliged to turn to each other for help…

Assistant director for the Paris premier of the Off-Broadway musical Next Thing You Know, by Joshua Salzman & Ryan Cunningham! The Show will be opening on June 14th at the Highlander Scottish Pub, 8 rue de Nevers, 75006 Paris.

This new production of Next Thing You Know is presented by the musical theatre company AMT Live as part of the Paris premiere “OffBroadway à Paris” performance series, following the critically acclaimed Paris productions of Edges and The Last Five Years . The cast features an international, Paris-based group of artists led by Tolgay Pekin (Turkey), assistant director Julia Ledl (Austria), musical director Mathieu Becquerelle (France): Lauren Berkman (USA), Frédéric Brodard (Switzerland), Quentin Bruno (France/USA), and Miranda Crispin (USA/France). The show is accompanied by a live orchestra and will be performed in the original English language version

Next Thing You Know is the story of four New Yorkers as they laugh, love and drink their way through the big questions that face all young dreamers who wake up in the city that never sleeps. Does marrying a really nice guy mean you’re settling down or just settling? Does taking a nine-to-five equal giving up or growing up? Does a decade in the city break you down or break you in. This contemporary musical play, which takes place primarily in a cozy neighborhood pub, blends New York cabaret style with British pub theatre. The audience follows the humorous and touching stories of four characters who are exploring professional and personal life decisions.
